The work of the Spirit of Christ...

Christ work on the earth…
Praise the Lord for Christ’s ministry from the heavens upon the earth, a ministry from the heavens that still prevails within the hearts of all those who believe into Him here on earth. Today many believers know about Christ’s birth, human living, how He expressed God’s divine virtues through his human virtues as a man while living upon the earth about 2000 years ago and his death where he said on the cross, “ it is finished.”  In John 19:30  on the cross Jesus said,” It is finished”, and He bowed His head and delivered up His spirit. It is finished here refers to the fact that He finished the work of redemption through the shedding of His blood for our sins and the releasing of His resurrection life to bring forth the new creation.
The Gospels of Mathew, Mark, Luke,  John and the book of Acts especially  furthermore declared  that Jesus after His death was resurrected and ascended to the heavens. The grave and the power of death and Hades could not hold him down for the divine life within Him is greater than the power of death. It is His resurrection life that raised Him from the death and enabled Him to appear to His disciples who were still witnesses.

Before His death in John 14:16-20, The Lord told his disciples that he would not leave them as orphans, but that He would ask the Father that He would give them the Spirit , the Comforter that He would be with them forever. Even the Spirit of reality whom the world cannot receive because it does not behold Him or know Him; but they would know Him, for He would abides with them and be in them. Furthermore He said, that in a little while the world would no longer behold Him but that they, His disciples or those who believe into Him, would behold Him since He lives and because of it also would live in them; And that in that day they would know that He is in His Father and they in Him and He in them. He even reminded them in Verse 25 of the same chapter 14 that the Comforter, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in His Jesus name, would teach them in all things.

In John 7:37-39 Jesus spoke to his disciples that if anyone was thirsty to let them come to Him and drink and that He who believes into Him, as the scriptures said, out of his innermost being would flow rivers of living water, and this He said regarding the Spirit, whom those who believed into Him were about to receive; for the Spirit was not yet for Jesus was not yet glorified. The Spirit of Christ is the embodiment and reality of Christ ( Romans 8:9),  after His resurrection, ascension and glorification. It is that Spirit of the resurrected Christ who is both Lord and Christ and  dwells in all the genuine Christians today. Romans 8:9 says,” that we are not in the flesh , but in the spirit if indeed the Spirit of God dwells in us. Yet if anyone does not have the Spirit of Christ, he is not of him”.  All those who are born of the Spirit of reality possess the life and power of the resurrection life of Christ.  Upon receiving  the Spirit of Christ with His resurrection life and power today we can enjoy Him as Grace’ even grace upon Grace and live in resurrection also. Romans 8:2 tells us that the law of the Spirit of Life has freed us in Christ Jesus from the law of sin and death. Sin and death have no longer the power and  freedom to  reign over us or within us, but the life of Christ, the law of the resurrected Christ who now as the Spirit operates within our spirit, soul and body frees us daily from the power of sin and death.

Ephesians 2:6 tells us that we are raised up together with Him and are seated together with Him in the heavenlies in Christ Jesus. Do you feel like you are raised up together with Him, do you feel like you are sitting together with Him in the heavenlies, a heavenly realm or sphere that is better than our earthly realm?. It is when we come to know the resurrected life and power of the Spirit of Christ that we truly know Him and the power of His resurrection and the fellowship of His suffering , being conformed to His death.( Philippians 3:10-11)

1 Corinthians 12:13 tells us that we are baptized, immersed into one Spirit, one Body whether Jews or Greeks,  Canadians, Americans, or whatever country we come from, whether slaves of free, and were all given to drink One Spirit. It is the Peace of Christ that sanctifies us wholly so that our spirit, soul and body be preserved complete without blame at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ. Amen. ( 1 Thessalonians 5:23).
