Jesus, Precious One....

Today, I read a post on google+ that mentioned that, “if we love the Lord to tell Him and Thank Him”, and some verses or thoughts came to my mind to share why I love Jesus, the precious One…

In 1 Peter 2:6-7 it stands in the Scriptures: “See, I lay in Zion a stone, a chosen and precious cornerstone; and the one who believes in Him will never be put to shame.” To you who believe, then, this stone is precious. But to those who do not believe, “The stone the builders rejected has become the cornerstone,” One of the main reasons I find the Lord most precious and Praise Him is because from Him flow all spiritual blessings. In John 7:37-39 we can see that on the last and greatest day of the feast, Jesus stood up and cried out in a loud voice, “If anyone thirsts, let him come to Me and drink, he who believes into Me, just as the Scripture said, out of his innermost being shall flow rivers of living water. And this he said concerning the Spirit whom those who believed into Him were about to receive; for the Spirit was not yet, because Jesus had not yet been glorified.

From the scriptures we know that Jesus  died to accomplish redemption for all mankind and rose from the death, ascended and was glorified. (Acts 3:13). Furthermore, He became the all inclusive Spirit, (1 Corinthians 15:45b), that is still reaching us today, all mankind, and flows as the Spirit, as streams of living water into all those who are thirsty and willing to come to Him.

I am so happy today that I found Him, the most precious One, and followed in the footsteps of so many other believers who once were dead in sin, thirsty, but came to Him and asked Him to come into their heart and be filled with the Holy Spirit. Our hope did not put us to shame for the love of God has been poured out within our hearts through the Holy Spirit, the precious One that has been given to us. (Romans 5:5). It is the Spirit of Jesus, the precious one that quenches all our thirst, our disappointments sometimes due to trespasses or sins we may be ignorant of, discouragement, loneliness, sadness, hopeless and even despair for whatever else our soul may long for or thirst for in this world.

By simply coming to Him in prayer, by opening our being, our heart, the veils are taken away and we can touch Him as the Spirit and receive the flow of life into our human spirit, even our soul and body. (2 Corinthians 3:16). There is nothing more precious as Jesus in my spirit, soul and body. There is nothing more precious or anything else in this world that compares with Him to save our soul!
Furthermore, Acts 3:19-20 tells us that when we turn back to Him, no matter how fallen we may be or have become, our sins will be wiped away so that seasons of refreshing may come from His presence. 1 Corinthians 12:13 shows us that by one Spirit we are we all baptized into one body, whether we be Jews or Gentiles, whether we be bond or free; and have been all made to drink one Spirit. So today regardless of out nationality, tribe or tongue  receive him as the Spirit and experience daily the flowing of the Divine life enabling us to enjoy seasons of refreshing from His presence.
Hebrews 7:24-25 tells us that, “Jesus lives forever, He has a permanent priesthood. He is therefore able to save completely those who draw near to God through Him, since He always lives to intercede for us.
If you are really thirsty, there is also a song on Hymnal.net, in stanza 2 about, “Jesus the most precious One that we want to seek constantly so that He can spread through us”. It is one of my favorites songs where we can sing our praise and appreciation to Jesus, the most precious One. This song helps us to get into the reality of Jesus as the living word of God. May you all enter into Him and enjoy seasons of refreshing from Jesus the precious One….
Amen
